What’s my favorite holiday?
If you guessed it’s the one that we will celebrate tomorrow, i.e., Thanksgiving, then you know me all too well.
You see, this is the day on which Americans give thanks for all of our tremendous blessings, including our country and its rational foundation. This foundation is unlike any other in history, as it involves a foundation of individual rights, a country founded on the principles of freedom from coercion and where the individual citizen is the primary agent of importance, not God, the king, the president or the state.
This is what we all should be thankful for, because despite her flaws, this nation remains the greatest example of how to protect individual rights the world has ever seen.
When it comes to celebrating Thanksgiving, many of us will sit down to a big feast of Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, biscuits, butter, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, sparkling wine… I’m getting really hungry just contemplating it!
Yet, before I enjoy tomorrow’s feast, I would like to take a brief moment to express my thanks to those who have shaped my existence.
To my family: Your nurturing support of all of my life decisions (some good, some not so good) have shown me the meaning of respect and trust.
To my good friends: Your loyalty and support has shown me the confidence of knowing that I have an exceptional squad “watching my six.”
To my intellectual influences: Your example, your words and your thoughts have helped me shape and define my rational core.
To my artistic influences: Your work has helped form my appreciation for beauty, sadness, triumph, tragedy and the details in life that really matter. And your work has helped me to form my own, existence-affirming sense of life.
And finally, and most importantly, I am thankful for you, the subscriber to this service.
It is because of your support that I am able to do what I love most, which is analyzing the human behavior machine that is the financial markets and implementing the practical strategies we use to make profitable investment decisions.
Indeed, I am proud here of the decisions we make, because these are the decisions that increase our “units of choice.” Remember, earning money via the profits we generate in this service isn’t just money. Think of those profits as “units of choice.” The more units of choice you have, the more freedom you have. And the more freedom you have, the better you are able to live the life you really want.
Now, I’ll be back next Friday, Dec. 3, with a more traditional hotline, one that includes updates on the broad market, the economy, the battles in Washington that affect our money and any new portfolio moves. Until then, and right in time for your holiday feast, I’ve just released a new research report on a company that could very well be on your dinner table this holiday season.
The company is plant-based protein maker Eat Well Investment Group (EWGFF), a small-cap stock with big earnings and a big future that’s taking advantage of the plant-based protein wave. So, whether you’re a “meat” person or a “meatless” advocate, if you’re reading this, you’re a profit advocate, and that means you need to check out my FREE Special Report on the opportunity in Eat Well Investment Group, today.
Happy Thanksgiving.
